Load compartment volume and areas
Large capacities for big jobs
Do you want to do more? If so, you also have to be able to transport more. The new Transporter panel van with short wheelbase offers space for up to 2 Euro pallets – with long wheelbase up to 3 Euro pallets – which now comfortably fit between the wheel housings thanks to the loading width of 1,392 mm. This results in a load compartment capacity of approx. 5.8 m3 up to a maximum of 9.0 m3. And whatever cannot be accommodated in the generously sized load compartment can then simply be put on the roof using the 3 optional folding roof carriers, which allow you to transport an additional 170 kg of material.
Enough capacity for your big projects
Ready for demanding tasks: the new Transporter dropside with double cab and long wheelbase impresses with a spacious load platform area of up to approx. 4.22 m2, offering enough space for up to 2 Euro pallets. This makes it ideal for confidently mastering and delivering large challenges.

Whether lifting heavy packages, stacking bulky pallets or manoeuvring unwieldy material through the door – loading and unloading is hard work. The new Transporter panel van makes your life easier. With four different optional loading floors. Would you like to use the load compartment as a mobile workshop or for service and courier tasks? You can also optionally choose other intelligent load compartment solutions.

Optional loading floors
So that nothing or no-one slips: the right loading floors help to avoid mishaps of your team in the load compartment – or make it easier to install cabinet systems.
- Plastic floor covering in the load compartment with raised side edges: reliably protects the loading floor against fluids and minor impacts.
- Wooden floor (2-piece) with 3 Airline rails (transverse): mounted securely to the body and comes with 10 removable fastening rings (lashing force 500 daN). The fastening rings equipped as standard can still be used.
- Wooden floor in the load compartment: one-piece, coated wooden floor for the Transporter panel van.
- Wooden floor in the load compartment with anti-slip coating and preparation for Sortimo cabinets: equipped with anti-slip coating and mounting points for subsequent cabinet installation and flat fastening rings for use of Sortimo Pro-Safe hooks.
Partitions
Regardless of how well you secure your load – sometimes you cannot stop things rattling around the load compartment. Partitions help here and reliably shield the passenger compartment – also against dust, dirt and unpleasant odours. This ensures everything stays tidy and safe. Depending on variant, the partitions in the new Transporter still make it possible to see into the load compartment, while the seat adjustment options are maintained.

Tinted rear window and rear side windows
For discreet moments on the go
Protects against prying eyes: the darkened rear side windows and the tinted rear window transform the large windows of the passenger compartment into surfaces that are almost opaque from the outside. This way, your passengers can enjoy more privacy – whether it’s a discreet VIP shuttle service or a relaxing ride to a business meeting. At the same time, the striking design of the new Transporter is presented even more effectively – for a confident appearance that impresses both inside and out.
Trailer Hitch
Extra baggage? No problem – tow up to 2.8 tons easily
Ready for big tasks: whether it’s sports equipment for away games, luggage for long distances or equipment for the next event – the new Transporter handles even the most difficult challenges with ease. If its generous storage space is not enough, it can be easily expanded: the optional trailer towing brackets for loads of up to 2.8 t enable quick coupling of a trailer. Choose between a rigid or electrically retractable version – for comfortable handling and even more flexibility.

The optional rigid ball coupling for the new Transporter has a maximum trailer weight of 2.8 t and the trailer stabilisation function offered by Electronic Stability Control.

The optional, electrically retractable ball coupling can be easily unlocked using a switch in the luggage compartment and it extends electrically. It can also be folded away automatically: press the switch again; the device is now released and is electrically retracted.
Sliding doors and tailgate
Easy to get in, easy to load
Comfort begins when you get in: thanks to the extra-wide, standard sliding door on the passenger side (930 mm effective opening width), getting in and out of the new Transporter is even more pleasant for your passengers. A second sliding door on the driver side provides additional flexibility – ideal for quick transfers at the airport or hotel. While the vehicle is moving, the optional vent windows in the sliding doors bring pleasant air to the rear rows – perfect for long distances. And with the electric power closing system it becomes even more comfortable: a slight push into the lock is all it takes for the sliding doors to close gently by themselves.
Loading is also impressive: the standard rear lid provides convenient access to the luggage compartment. It is even more versatile with the optional sideways-opening wing doors with an opening angle of up to 168°, making it easier to approach loading ramps or to load suitcases, sports equipment or other equipment.
And if the next job needs to start immediately? With Keyless Start, your key remains in your pocket – just press a button to start the engine. Even more practical: Keyless Access. This system automatically unlocks the doors and tailgate as soon as you approach the Transporter. If nothing happens, the key may still be on your desk.
Light design

Whether you’re taking a night drive to an event or on the way to your next appointment in the early hours of the morning – the standard LED headlights and tail lights of the new Transporter ensure that you can see well throughout your journey – and that others can see you. For challenging weather conditions, The optional cornering provides better illumination by lighting up the side area when cornering: it provides better illumination by lighting up the side area when cornering.
The intelligent IQ.Light LED matrix headlights are a real highlight. Not only do they light up the road precisely, they also dip dynamically when driving at night together with the Dynamic Light Assist main-beam control – and proactively follow the course of bends. The high-end LED tail light clusters set the tone and ensure a distinctive appearance with their exclusive light signature.
And thanks to the Coming Home and Leaving Home function, you and your passengers don’t have to be left in the dark when getting in and out. The IQ.Light LED matrix headlights automatically show you the way. Comfort meets function – in the Transporter’s light design.
Seat configurations
Comfort for your passengers, flexibility for you
From minibuses to the VIP shuttle – the Transporter has been a reliable all-rounder for generations, delighting passengers and drivers alike. Its strengths? Comfort and flexibility. The latest edition increases both: more space and legroom create a generous amount of space, while the vehicle also increases its flexibility and functionality.
The three individual seats in the second row not only fold, they can also be easily removed thanks to quick-release fasteners. The 3-seat bench in the third row folds down and is also easy to remove. This allows you to store up to 4,343 litres of storage space for luggage, bulky goods or leisure equipment such as bicycles and golf bags in no time at all. Ideal if you need more space for business travellers during airport transfers, event shuttles or your football team’s away game.

For those who spend hours behind the wheel or are constantly getting in and out, comfort is a necessity, not a luxury. The raised seat position of the new Transporter makes getting in and out particularly comfortable and at the same time offers a good all-round view – a clear advantage, whether you’re in heavy city traffic or on overland journeys. In addition, you benefit from generous headroom and legroom in the cab, which also makes long journeys more relaxed.
But that’s not all: the standard front individual seats perfectly adapt to your body contours thanks to sophisticated ergonomics. With numerous height, length and tilt adjustment options, you will find your feel-good position in no time at all.
How about even more benefits? On cold days, the seat heating provides a pleasant warmth, while the electrically adjustable seats can be easily adapted to your individual requirements. The optional ergoComfort 8-way driver seat, awarded the AGR quality seal, offers top comfort and protects the back and neck at the same time – ideal for frequent travellers or long periods of use.
Safety comes standard
The Transporter is built with safety at its core. Features like Front Assist with City Emergency Brakes help reduce rear-end collisions and can detect pedestrians at speeds of up to 30km/h. Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Traffic Alert supports safer driving in busy metro areas, while Multi-Collision Brakes and Crosswind Assist give you added confidence in challenging conditions.5

The Transporter van is built with a variety of safety features to help keep you safe in all kinds of places.
Side Assist
Side Assist uses LED lights in the side mirrors to let you know if there are any cars in your blind spots. Once you indicate to change lanes, the system will flash if there’s a potential hazard – and can even apply corrective steering using Lane Assist to help avoid a collision.
Traffic sign recognition
Front-mounted cameras identify traffic signs and display the information clearly on your dashboard.
Front Assist with City Emergency Brakes
Front Assist combines multiple features to help you avoid or minimise collisions. It includes emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, intersection assist, advanced turn assist and evasive support.
Using radar sensors, the system detects vehicles ahead, warns the driver and prepares to brake. If there’s no response, it applies the brakes automatically. At speeds below 30 km/h, City Emergency Brake can intervene earlier if a collision appears likely.
Multi-collision brakes
This system is designed to assist immediately after an accident. When the airbags detect a collision, the multi-collision brake activates to slow the vehicle and help prevent a secondary impact. During braking, hazard lights and brake lights remain illuminated. The driver can take back control at any time.
Driver assistance systems
Cruise control
Cruise control with speed limiter. Once you set your speed, the system adjusts to maintain a safe following distance. In stop-start conditions, it can bring the vehicle to a complete halt and then pull away again when the road clears.
High beam Light Assist
When you’re driving at night, high beam light assist helps you see further without dazzling oncoming traffic. The system detects vehicles ahead and automatically switches between high and low beams – keeping the road ahead clear and well lit.

We never lose sight of the importance of road safety. That’s why our Transporter vehicles can be upgraded with a range of driver assistance systems.
Optional rear view camera
Reversing’s easier when you can see what’s behind you. The rear view camera gives you a clear video feed of the space behind the van – helping you back into tight spots with greater confidence. It’s especially useful for protecting rear-mounted gear like towbars or storage racks.
Exterior and interior lighting
From after-hours work to tight job site access, visibility matters. The Transporter comes with LED headlights, LED daytime running lights and LED interior lighting to keep everything clear as day.
