IQ.LIGHT
Light that thinks for itself
The optional IQ.LIGHT HD matrix headlights with Dynamic Light Assist main-beam control light up the road ahead, without dazzling other road users. The optionally available animated turn signal is a special highlight of the HD matrix headlights.
The new Tayron’s signature light impresses with standard light strips on the radiator grille and rear, surround lighting, illuminated door handles and luminous Volkswagen logos front and rear. The HD matrix headlights can help to improve visibility at night.
In addition, Dynamic Light Assist main-beam control enhances driving safety – it allows the headlights to precisely mask out other road users and traffic signs from the main beam area. When driving in built-up areas, the system also automatically switches from main beam to dipped beam. This means that you can drive for longer and more often with the main beam on. Streets are thus better illuminated and obstacles can be detected earlier.
A special leaving home/coming home light animation welcomes you and bids farewell when you start or turn off your vehicle’s engine.

Outright impressive
Developed and manufactured in Wolfsburg, designed with the world in mind: the new Tayron enhances Volkswagen’s SUV family. The sporty design of the Tayron impresses down to the last detail – from the striking front section, to the door panelling in the vehicle colour, to the four different and optional 20-inch alloy wheels. With a standard range of features including ambient lighting, illuminated Volkswagen logos on the front and rear, new main beam headlights and new tail lights with dynamic turn signals, the Tayron sets stylish accents. The optionally available IQ.LIGHT HD matrix headlights are yet another absolute highlight.
Interior
When inner values count
From outstanding spaciousness for bag and baggage, thanks also to the extended wheelbase, to an abundant range of standard features such as the multifunction steering wheel with hard keys or the door trim in the vehicle colour through to the optional tilting and sliding panoramic sunroof that offers passengers an unrestricted view of the sky. You can gently illuminate the interior of the new Tayron optionally in up to 30 colours thanks to background lighting, to reflect your own personal lighting mood.
The high-quality of the Tayron is evident when it comes to the seats too – thanks to the optional ergoActive partial leather seats with massage function. For example, you can heat the seat cushions and backrests independently of each other or switch on the seat ventilation on warmer days.
Space concept
Spaciously flexible
You can adjust the second seat row in the new Tayron to suit your particular needs in any given situation. And should you ever need the entire storage volume, you can fold down all seats to create a virtually flat luggage compartment floor.
And the convenience doesn’t stop there! That’s because the optional sensor-operated Easy Open & Close function allows you to open the boot lid using no hands, just a simple foot gesture.
Park Assist Plus
Park Assist Plus
Park Assist Plus can tell you not only whether a parking space is big enough as you drive by – it also parks for you. Up to a speed of 40 km/h, it will search for suitable parallel parking spaces – parking bays up to a speed of 20 km/h. Once you have decided on one of the parking spaces found, you can start the parking process. Park Assist Plus takes care of everything for you: steering, accelerator and brakes. All you have to do is monitor the parking process. Park Assist Plus can also drive out of parallel parking spaces again.
Area View
Safety that thinks ahead
The optional Area View system makes parking and manoeuvring easier for you:
Four cameras show you a 360° view of your vehicle, kerbs, parking lines and obstacles – clearly arranged on the infotainment display.
Area View also shows you areas that are outside of your direct field of vision – so you can even see “around the corner”.
Trailer Assist
Trailer Assist
Have you ever had to reverse with a trailer? Manoeuvring is much easier with Trailer Assist: you simply say which direction you want the trailer to go. Trailer Assist handles the steering. You just need to press the accelerator, apply the brakes and monitor the process.
Infotainment

In the new Tayron you are well informed, safely navigated to your destination and perfectly entertained while out and about.
The Ready 2 Discover radio comes with loudspeakers in the front and rear to offer you an improved sound experience, and can also be enhanced later on with useful functions such as navigation.
Connect your mobile phone wirelessly via Bluetooth, stream your favourite podcasts and playlists from the Internet and enjoy digital DAB+ reception. You can even charge your laptop via the USB-C ports with a charging capacity of up to 45 W.
You can use selected mobile phone apps really easily via App-Connect with the 32.7 cm (12.9 inch) touchscreen.
The IDA voice assistant enables you to also operate your infotainment system with your voice. From now on, you can access the artificial intelligence tool ChatGPT whilst travelling – to get more information, do research or simply for your entertainment.
The head-up display projects driving data and navigation instructions onto the windscreen – making them clearly visible in your field of vision.
